Regional Lead

Regional Volunteer Coordinator

Serve as the local point of contact for Marines in your area. Coordinate meetups, welcome new Marines, and connect them to resources.

📍 Chicagoland, Central IL, or Southern IL ⏱ 3–5 hours/month
Event Support

Event Volunteer

Help plan and run MCCCIL events — 5K races, career workshops, BBQs, and more. Great for Marines and supporters who want to stay active.

📍 Statewide — various locations ⏱ Per event (4–8 hours)
Peer Support

Marine Mentor / Peer Support

Be a welcoming contact for Marines transitioning to Illinois. Share your experience, answer questions, and provide peer-to-peer support.

📍 Remote / Phone / In-person ⏱ 2–4 hours/month
Fundraising

Fundraising & Outreach

Help grow the scholarship fund and support emergency assistance. Assist with golf outings, races, employer partnerships, and community outreach.

📍 Statewide ⏱ Flexible
Youth Programs

Youth Program Mentor

Support Young Marines and MCJROTC cadets through mentorship, coaching, and event coordination. Help shape the next generation.

📍 Near participating schools/units ⏱ 2–4 hours/month
Service

Community Service Lead

Organize and lead service projects — veteran home repairs, food drives, and community clean-ups that give Marines visibility and purpose.

📍 Statewide — various locations ⏱ Per project (4–8 hours)
