MCCCIL Scholarship Program

Investing in the education of Marines, veterans, and their families in Illinois.

About the Program

The MCCCIL Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to Marines, veterans, and their family members who are pursuing higher education or vocational training in the state of Illinois. Our goal is to remove barriers to education and help our Marine Corps community achieve their academic and career goals.

Scholarships are funded through donations to the Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Illinois and through proceeds from the Illinois Marine Corps License Plate Program.

Eligibility

To be eligible for an MCCCIL scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current or former U.S. Marine (active duty, veteran, or reservist), or an immediate family member (spouse, child) of a Marine
  • Be a resident of the state of Illinois
  • Be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college, university, or vocational training program
  • Demonstrate financial need
